Indeed, that's great. You can make it even simpler than that though. Something that you can repeat to yourself on occasion. Treat others as you would want to be treated. It's a fundamental part of being human. It makes us different from the basic predator. Yet, in itself, it is still of a self-centred viewpoint and not altruistic, which most people are incapable of being, simply because that requires a denial of self.
Absolutely. The other quotation about this is from Edmund Burke: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

We, as a nation have to make a strong, strong stand against this. Trump's decision has taken the western world back in time to the 1930's.

Appalling. I am truly repulsed. I hope Theresa May grows a spine soon.
Absolutely.! Contrast the USA attitude with Canada's: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38786656

Breath of fresh air from Justin Trudeau.

Don't know about Amber, but Foot-in-Mouth Johnson will probably have us at war with the USA by Tuesday at the latest.
Home Secretary Amber Rudd has defended plans to make firms do more to employ British people, saying "don't call me a racist" for talking about immigration.

Under her proposals, firms could be forced to disclose what percentage of their workforce is non-British as a way to encourage them to hire more locals.

Ms Rudd said she wanted to "flush out" companies abusing existing rules and "nudge them into better behaviour".

WTF is that meant to mean.? I'm in full agreement with Nicola Sturgeon on this:

"It is an appalling, regressive, and hugely troubling development which will leave many people in Scotland - and across the rest of the UK and beyond - wondering, with real concern, what kind of country the Tories want us to be."

Rudd will probably be agreeing with Trump.

The truly worrying thing about Trump is not just that a lunatic has got himself elected POTUS, but that so many people in positions of authority are rushing to do his bidding when it is self evidently a) insane, and b) illegal.

Hitler couldn't have sent anyone to the gas chambers without the active collaboration of thousands, no make that tens of thousands, of people. And all that started with demonisation followed by deportations.

Bannon is the true leader and that is some scary ****. Trump signs whatever is put infront of him.
