NEW DEAL FOR GOMEZ?
Joe Gomez is reportedly set to sign a new five-year deal with Liverpool.
The Liverpool Echo say advanced talks are taking place as Gomez looks to commit his future to the club until 2022.
Gomez only recently returned from a long-term injury and has only played twice under Jurgen Klopp.
However, according to the Echo, Klopp has been " the driving force behind Gomez being offered enhanced terms having been hugely impressed by him".

Need to rethink this 'no buy in Jan' theory. Clearly we are in need of strengthening to get us over the line (been obvious since the summer really). Also sends out message to the players, that the club is always looking to improve and that unless you play well your place could be in trouble. And at the same time can also give a boost to the players to show at good players are coming in to help out.
The players really do need a boost.
Shopping list needs to inlcude;
GK, Dear god how bad are both
CB, **** me how is still not solved.
LB, Milner is not a LB
DM, Henderson is not a DM and Lucas is pish.
CM, Can oh dear.
CF, can't rely on some like Sturridge who is always injured and frankly looks shot.
Any of these to be solved be a massive improvement atm.
The players really do need a boost.
