Interesting situation nearly arose there.

Costa didn't quite keep the ball in on the left touchline, but if he had he'd knocked it beyond the Liverpool player and would, in all likelihood, have had the pace to get there.

BUT he was blocked off by a Liverpool sub warming up. Can the referee award anything in this situation (if the ball had stayed in) ?

Anfield is just too tight these days, I'm sure there used to be more room from the pitch to the advertising hoardings. Both us and now Wolves have had players wacking into them, hope the refs report these things.
