His average is looking good for us. Just for fun, has anyone noticed Shane Long has scored 5 in 31 games for club and country this season?

We must have signed a different Niasse to that crap one Everton had, this one can quite obviously play a bit.

Although it's funny, he's a bit like Harry where his runs look quite clumsy so players stand off waiting for him to stuff up, but he doesn't and just carries on past them.

Couldn't help noticing the same thing..... :)

He's a bit like Bambi on ice when running, seems a bit unsure where his legs are going, but what the hell, if it works....keep on doing it

Just been on a Everton forum and as we speak they are frantically looking for a locker.

He looks decent enough. Did some really good things with and without the ball. Scored, hit the cross bar, wreaked havoc amongst the Utd back line. Nice touches, turning out of blind alleys with the ball at his feet.

What the **** do Everton fans know about football?

    Clearly not a great deal.

He made a grand total of 7 appearances for Everton, mostly off the bench, none of them know **** all about him

I kid you not, just had a look over again at a couple of Everton forum, some of the fickle ****ers over there are talking about giving the lad a second chance.

Bit of a beast. Don't like him out wide though.
Erratic and strong as an ox. Funny running style and looks like he's got a coat hanger in his shirt.

Never a winger, worst crosser of a ball I've seen in a while. Very good performance when more central though.

His goal came about because he cut in from the wing and drew 3-4 players to him, releasing Meyler on the right.

He can't cross for **** but he does good work out wide.

It's difficult because he can't cross and you need a winger to do that, but his direct style works on the wing and he pushed the defence back quite a bit by just running at them on the wing.

His style is what we need, someone who just thinks I am going to run at you and see what you do. I reckon he will win a lot of fouls by that style and create a lot of space for others. Along with scoring and hit the bar with a header, not a bad full home debut.

Yeah he won a lot of fouls for us and without diving about the place, but rather genuinely putting himself in a position where United had to foul him to stop him.
