I think most members will be ok for tickets, I'm positive being a member guaranteed you a ticket for every home game if you wanted one, by that reckoning we could have only sold 28000ish memberships and season tickets. (well that's the hope i'm clinging onto)

It says that the next 2 home games against Arsenal and West Ham will also count towards your purchase history so if you're on 3 or 4 home games this season there's still a chance to meet that membership + 5 home games requirement. Whether that will be enough to guarantee a ticket is another matter...

My heart goes out to all those fans who don't think they'll be able to get a ticket. It's horrible. I'm fortunate that I'm a season ticket holder, but believe me, I've been where you are.

In 2003, I was living in Wigan and went to something like 10 away games that season and only three home games. The criteria for tickets was 8 home games. I was also a member of The Northern Saints club and used to get away tickets via them on a guaranteed allocation from the club. The club gave Northern Saints a small allocation for the Final... I was next on the list so missed out :(

10 days before the final I got a call from someone telling me they could get me a ticket in hospitality. It was £705. I took it after a discussion with the wife and put it on a credit card (we had a one and two year old then). Three days before the final, my Dad phoned to say he'd got a ticket from me for £50 from a customer..,.. I sold that at the same value to the next bloke on the Northern Saints list.

My message is really to say hang in there! You never know. I do feel for you.

I should be fine. 3 EL games plus Sunderland and Liverpool in the EFL cup plus Norwich and Arsenal in the FA cup plus Watford on the opening day. 8 exactly. Phew.

If I get a ticket (don't think I will) then it will a bonus.....but quite right ST and members who have been to most games get the tickets.
And at the very least I will watch it round my local.

Arsenal and West Ham give me my 8 (9 if the Athletico Bilbao friendly counts).
Just need to get time off work. Will know that tomorrow, I hope.

Gggrrrr... because of everyone trying to buy tickets for the final the website doesn't seem to want to sell me one for Swansea next Tuesday. Damn us getting to Wembley! ;)

I'm worried I won't make it :(

Suprised they used home games only.

I've got 2 away and 6 home (including Arsenal at weekend)

Might buy a West Ham ticket even though I'm workinhg.

To be honest, I reckon anyone with 8 and probably 7 will get one. It's after that it gets a bit tricky

You can sometimes be surprised....there can be lots of reasons why eligible fans won't take up their options.

I get surprised every time i got to the toilet, look down and get surprised by the size of my................................................................feet

Please don't buy all the Sunderland tickets, I actually want to go to that one because it's down the road.

I'm out, but if you're in then enjoy.

Monday 13th Feb... I'll also be eagerly awaiting that date

I really can't see it making that far to be honest. I've got 6 but I'm still tempted to buy West Ham (which I can't make) to bump it up to 7.

It would be nice if the club said how many are eligible in each category.
