Presumably though we could buy a couple more home tickets now and become eligible? Though the site is currently showing big queue times while everyone logs on to check their purchase history
The Games that count to qualification used to be games that have been attended already, not purchased (i.e. future games don't count). This was what I found a couple of years ago.
Ahh. Fair enough. I just wondered as they are still trying to get people to buy memberships now to qualify, thought you might still be able to buy home tickets to qualify too.
No, just tried google and inconclusive. As it's only me from my family going (no wife or kids), I'm going to try to treat myself to the £100 tickets.
I've been to most home games this season, but on my Dads season ticket since he hasn't been able to go due to health reasons (knee replacement). I've only been to about 3 that I've paid for seperately because of this. So I need to hope we don't sell out beyond the Membership plus 5 games thing or that my Dads knee still isn't up to it
I looked on Wembley site and couldn't see there either. I want to be as close to my JPT seat as possible. It is similar ot my view at St Mary's and it is lucky. We'll win 4-1
I haven't been to anywhere near enough games this season, so I've got no chance of a ticket, which is fine. I would rather those heroes who made the trip to the Emirates and Anfield and drowned out the home support get to go to Wembley.
That does grind on me slightly that the club have elected to take only home support into account when it is the away fans that have got the club through the toughest games in this competition so far. I think there is even a case for fans who took the trips to Europe, surely they have earned their place at the final ahead of those who have popped round the corner for the £12 Norwich home ticket.... Don't get me wrong, you can never please everyone, because with an occasion like this, some will be certain of missing out.
For those travelling from the Bmth area by train to London, busses between Bmth and Soton on Sunday 26th Feb.......
Club have confirmed that the Arsenal game this weekend and the West Ham game on 4 Feb will count. Stupid really, I have just bought tickets to games I cannot attend just to meet the minimum criteria for Wembley. Fingers crossed there are still some left by that ticket window.
I'd love for there to be a get-together for all the fans who can't make it to Wembley, I'd definitely make that
