The point is John Stone had played 77 games for everton over three seasons along with 15 england caps, they arent comparable at the moment, maguire is older also. Stones left everton at 20, maguire is 23 nearly 24.
You spoke of him having a terrible game in general, and I suggested that was down to the position he was playing. Don't put words in my mouth. It was a silly penalty to give away but I thought in general he was serviceable for the rest of the game in a tough position for someone who isn't the nimblest of players.

That's mental.... So there are no pacey wingers that cut inside or no pacey strikers in the EPL, he was exposed as he lacks pace full stop. Not just a lack of pace playing right back. He gave away the pen due to his clumsiness to blame the position he was playing is utterly illogical.
