Just need an extra CB and a striker now, preferably with JB and Oli going the other way.

Don't you think you're jumping the gun a little? He's played 1 competitive game for us in a new country when he is still learning about his team mates and English football

He seems to regularly move on, why? English Championship is the highest level he has so far attempted and previously I believe Inverness didnt sign him after a trial in 2007.
Unfortunately in general I think NP sometimes gives too much weight to a 'good attitude' in a player and not enough attention to their actual playing record and ability. For example McLean only managed 7 goals in 30 starts and 5 sub appearances at Championship level during Peterborough's 2009/10 relegation season. That in itself should have flashed warning signals as to McLeans Championship level ability

Wingers aren't going to make much difference if the strikers in the middle are scared of scoring whenever they get the ball.

Could not AGREE more. Can see a good team with Brady on the other wing. The forwards were not at the races and his supply was wasted. No wonder he gave up. I gave up on winning @ half time.

I don't know what happened with the trial at Inverness, but he would have been 19 or 20 years old then. Maybe he wasn't ready at the time.

I'd be surprised if NP signed players simply because they have a good attitude. He and his coaching staff see him every day in training, which is something that we don't have the benefit of.

As for McLean, his record for P'boro in the Championship, that could also be as a result of the team he was playing for (although, granted, he hasn't looked prolific for us)

I think McLean will come good. he has bags of confidence it seems - certainly more than I see in Simpson whose head drops

yes. i get the impression that if city signed Messi and he failed to score in the first 5 games he would be slagged off as league 2 standard and so forth. its only the glory boys who boo. i just laugh. it helps with the stress levels. lol.

His moving isn't that worrying, he left his first club to get football when he turned pro. Then he earnt a move to a higher division club. His next change of club wasn't a transfer, his club merged and changed name as a result. Then despite being a regular in a side that reached the Cup Final he was released. It sounds like that last one was because they had too many players after the merger to extend his deal. It's only really the fact that he only had a 6 month contract extended to a year when he did move that would be worrying, but that could easily be him wanting to move abroad to make some money and not having an offer at the time.

Messi would be described a "luxury player" and not played. Cries of "He doesn't get stuck in" and "He's too weak" would come from around the ground. Such is the attitude of the "Tiger Nation".

Where is he?!? Was his Macclesfield performance so bad that he's been issued with the Brownie "You'll never play for this club again!" response?

I would imagine he isn't costing a lot and has been brought in to see how he adapts to the English game. Probably the odd sub appearance once he has been here a bit longer and if he proves himself he may get in the team more regularly as the season progresses. If he doesn't look up to it he will move on at the end of the season.
