I forgot to mention .... Jay Rodriguez .... slowly, slowly, catchee monkey.

The lad did good today and he is slowly getting there. I so wish fans were more understanding and patient. He is getting there. Greta finish today.

Agreed. I think we all wanted the old Jay back. He, unfortunately, is long gone. However, this new one is beginning to look pretty decent!

From the BBC site:

"Ward-Prowse impressed throughout, scoring the first goal and playing an important part in the second. He ran the furthest of any player on the pitch (11.7km) and also led the Saints with 39 passes in the opposition half, as well as producing a team-high total of 10 crosses."

*useless*

His crosses deserved more assists. Brilliant.

Greta was some actress but not much of a goal scorer, oft misquoted she did once famously say "I want to be a lone striker" so in that respect there are similarities

Am I allowed to mention the Leicester fans? I thought they supported their average side superbly even when 2-0 down (your not that special, we lose every week)

And in front of the England manager too

Where has Puel said we don't need another cb?
The pre-match press conference. He said he is happy with his options at the back as Gardos has returned and he needs time to prove his worth. He said Gardos will be given the opportunity to play, which is fair enough but we need another.
Relying on Stephens and Gardos as back up is too risky imo.

Bloody **** league one standard player.

I've not heard it from the horse's mouth (but part of that is maybe that I don't tend to listen to his interview's, so unless his words are written down and I happen to read them, then that's to be expected), but I have heard it quoted (eg the Sky commentators today) that Puel has said he's happy with our CB options.

It would be a huge risk, in my view.

Exactly that. He didn't completely rule it out and he may well have just been acting coy and not putting down our current defenders. But it seems pretty obvious that we need another CB and I hope he isn't happy with his options. If he thinks what we have is enough I'd be slightly worried.

Worried about what though? This season is over bar the League cup so I don't see the massive fuss in signing players now, if we need to we can wait til the summer
