    By the way, I obviously picked the right day to drive all the way to Heathrow for a lecture on nutritional science and the microbiome, as I'm sure we were as clueless as ever and couldn't score a goal if it came wrapped in shiny paper with a gift tag attached.

    I couldn't make the game today (but managed to sneak a headphone in throughout, and am about to watch the game recorded), but it's really good to read comments that Cedric had a good game. As I said just the other day, he's easily been our third best player this season behind Virgil and Romeu in my view. Getting better and better. Still got issues elsewhere in our XI (and even more so now that Fonte has left), but no more at RB (subject to Pied proving himself as a sufficient back up when he's fit again. Hopefully he will be).

    Please be available for Wednesday, Virgil. Please.
