There aren't too many examples of where we paid over the odds. There have been some that haven't worked out, but not necessarily out on market value.
Beddy what's happening to you. What the hell is the point of dragging up a short managerial stint from 1889 to bash Les. He ain't perfect and can be a miserable, stubborn sod sometimes, but he's our miserable, stubborn sod. He's done a massive amount for this club and putting us where we are now.
The only issue I have is the rumblings about his son being an agent and Les pushing things that way. Outside of that, you draw two lists and write down the pros and cons of Les at Saints.

Come on Fats you know me better than that........my info is not always correct granted..........and I can be as wrong as the next man. However there is only one person that knows how I feel........ and thats me!! I can't always see things through rose coloured glasses, I say it as I see it. That will not stop me praising or expressing my disappointment even when people call it "bitching" Just expressing my view....
If we can get this signing over the line the best thing for the team will be having an option. He may not play the season scoring bucketloads himself, but if it provides competition and a bit of rejuvenation for Long and J Rod, knowing they won't be automatic starters, then it's all for the better. Let's hope we can find an agreement.

I don't think that you are bitching Beddy, but there is no doubt that you have become a little more "Eeyore" w.r.t. the club of late. Or at the very least less patient. I don't really see much change in the boards attitude, other than getting back to the Academy model which Koeman dumped.
