Yes and its called the Asset Stripping Allams - all becoming crystal clear now imho. Converting Allamhouse debt into bank debt it seems, selling proven players for large chunks and not reinvesting the proceeds (don't forget Livermore's wage sets off against incoming wages for loan signings so the 10m is free cash flow) - all points one way now. ****ing ****s.

I bet the Olympiakas fans are fuming about him smiling in that photo

They are fuming apparently, it seems he's been one of their best players of the past two seasons and one of the few who looked up to it when playing in the Champions League. As long as he stays fit/doesn't get injured, he should be a very good signing.

Smiling though, like he's had a lucky escape. We shoulda photographed him printing his own top to push them over the edge.

Glad to see btw that you've obvz been listening to your lad about the new signing.

I think they are in a much worse position then us! They have a manager who isn't cutting it. They have a squad that isn't cutting it and now appear to be accepting that good enough change isn't going to happen!

Our changes may or may not work but at least we aren't just lying down and accepting it. I'd be very worried if I was a Sunderland fan.

You have enough to worry about supporting City without worrying about them.

We are getting a share of the biggest payout of TV money in the history of the game this season. Do you think our wage bill is massively bigger than the last time we were in the PL? It's not like they've all signed new contracts.

Also we just brought in 3 players for next to nothing so why sell?

We know individual wages are rising at a daft rate, but how that shows in our wage bill I've no idea, but I'm happy for someone better informed to tell me.

Can you tell me what 'next to nothing' is? Loan fees and wages are next to what?

He's always who I turn to for info on foreign players, I've no idea who most of them are, whereas he's got most of them into the Champions League playing for Gainsborough Trinity or summat.
