Here's a scenario for you lot. We sell the main stay say Livermore, Snodgrass and a few others. We sign 5 loans and a couple of cheap foreigners. We get relegated.

When we go down what is there left? No manager, assert stripping chairmen who will sell anything of worth if we go down. No players?

Here's a scenario or you. We sell Livermore, we take the 10 mill, we make a few more additions, we stay up, Marco Silva signs a four year deal and we add to the squad again in the summer.

The Allams sell the club to a rich businessmen dying to invest greatly in a Premier League football club and look after the fans.

Lighten up :emoticon-0148-yes:

And then pigs fly and I win the EuroMillions, right?

Anyone contemplating selling Snodgrass needs their head checking.

He scored 7 goals and assisted 3. Anyone who thinks this is sensible is daft. No-one has adequately explained how selling Snodgrass would be good business in the slightest.

Yes we where bottom of the league, but that was in spite of Snodgrass not because of him.

Also, I don't want to see Livermore leave, but I can understand that one a little more than letting Snodgrass leave. Will we be stronger because Livermore left? No, but if we replace him well we could be. I just don't see us replacing him with someone better. Some might call my cynical but I don't trust Ehab in the slightest.

By selling our best player?

Swansea are bottom of the league right now, flogging Sigurdsson would still be ****ing stupid.

Sunderland are below us, would selling Defoe be a wise move?

If your squad isn't good enough, I'd suggest selling your best player isn't a great way to go about it, especially if they've scored or created half of all your goals.

What if that player didn't fit how your coach wanted you to play?

Snodders wants a minimum 2 yr contract which he will not get with us, makes sense to cash in while his stock is high.

Livermore is a strange one, but if he wants to go, and we get a fair price then ok.

15-20 mil could really strengthenthe squad

I'm 99% confident that we wont replace Jake.

Or alternatively we are back in Div 4.......its a win/win scenario.....either way, won't stop me going

if we stay up then silva would be the best manager in a job in 2017
fact

i bet you he does not want to lose snodgrass.. it's not through his choice and i think it's ****ed us

If Moyes said Defoe didn't fit the way he wanted to play (midway through a season) I'd think the same as if Silva comes out and says Snodgrass didn't fit the way he wanted to play, and that'd be that he's an idiot.

He can play on either wing and through the middle, he's the only reason we still have any chance of staying in the division, you fit him in.
