Reports are coming in of rioting spreading to Swansea, apparently a large gang of youths went on the rampage in the centre of Swansea dozens of shops were looted, and several buildings were set on fire,
A police spokesman condemned the copycat violence saying

"This is senseless, mindless vandalism, the cost of the damage could run into hundreds of pounds"

Not a subject for humour if you have suffered in the riots, but if you didn't laugh you'd cry ;)

That's not strictly true Rhondda - they couldn't jack it up to get the wheels off it. <ok>

That's surprising because there are rows of seats there that are practically unused

Local Swansea police would like to thank the two people who brought in a long, thin piece of leather, found close to pets world.

They think it might be a lead.

    BREAKING NEWS

There was a rumour that rioting had broken out in the landore area of Swansea, later it was reported that a large crowd of people had gathered in the Morfa area, but a statement by police confirmed that there had indeed been a crowd of around a thousand people had gathered by the liberty stadium, after investigation by South Wales Police the crowd were infact found to be Cardiff City fans who had heard that there were an extra 50 Swansea City season tickets up for sale and had been bussed down from Cardiff in the hope of getting one. The police statement went on to say that although the rumour originally posted on social network site Twatter was untrue, the Cardiff fans gathered at the Liberty Stadium were in good humour and there were no reports of any trouble after they were told that the rumour was groundless and Swansea had in fact sold all the current allocation of season tickets for this season. Although very disappointed the Cardiff fans then boarded their buses and made the return journey back to Cardiff.

They have now decided to try to get a signed photo of Huw Jenkins as the Bobbie prize in the club raffle instead.

Who's Bobbie - or do you mean Mr. Martinez?

If that's the case, he'll be getting his prize a week Saturday.

The Cardiff supporters at the liberty were in fact trainee social workers on a course to see the facilities that council tenants have to endure, it will assist them in understanding how less fortunate members of society are forced to eke out their existence.

Talking to a copper lunchtime today. He said no problems were expected in Newport. The place is already a wreck and there's nothing worth nicking.

Millens, thats just a clever ploy. Put the full "S" word in the title thread and they swarm like flies. Add the 'work it out for yourself' aspect and just the clever ones like Mabs get through. :D
