He looked out of his depth in that half and clearly doesn't like doing much defensive work, having seen his appalling marking from corners. He seems so desperate to make amends for conceding the penalty that he's forgotten his role in the side. It's not really been an entertaining spectacle on the whole, though. Liverpool have defended fairly well and their front three have carried the ball well, to be fair to them. United desperately lack creativity.
He's clearly crap at marking on set-pieces, so it's Mourinho's fault. Don't give him that responsibility, especially against the opposition's centre-half. Poor decision. I agree about it being a pretty boring game. It's been very patchy. Lots of little fouls. Man Utd need to get some decent possession going.
Just realised that before this match kicked off, the league down to 10th place was in the order of goal difference - that can't happen too often!
BBC website.... 'More often than not, the matches between the two fail to produce any excitement. This has been exhilarating!' WTF!!!
The poor chap monitoring possession timings has been taken to hospital with acute RSI in his finger!!! No ****er has been able to hold the ball for more than 2 seconds!!
Really and truly, United have no excuse to be performing this badly. Liverpool have a teenager at right-back, they're missing their best defender and their biggest threat was on the bench. They've been so sloppy and disjointed.
Not only has this game been rubbish, but the atmosphere's been terrible, too. A really disappointing end to the weekend's football, so far.
1-1. Ibrahimovic. Fellaini played a key role in that. Hopefully the last 7 minutes will be interesting!
I glad they've scored or we would have been in for at least another 9 minutes of additional time of this ****e.
