I'll repeat again.

If you're watching a game of football and the players positions seem quite fluid so you're not sure what the back formation is, take note of who takes the throw-ins. In a 4-4-2 the fullbacks will take them. In a 3-5-2 the wingbacks take them.

Today Harry Maguire took them from the right which means he was either RB or RWB. Now I think we all agree he didn't play RWB so he must have
been RB.

As I'm posting this I'm really really angry in a Ray Wilkins sort of way <laugh><laugh>

Enjoy the night <ale><ale><ale> and MOTD folks !

City?

Wtf?
Manchester City who also call themselves city along with the other 95 clubs that call themselves city or united. As you will tell I'm not as precious as most about the city chat. Yes we are hull CITY and yes you can **** your hull tigers chat. But Man City are also city. I think our identity is in HULL more than the generic city part that people have latched onto in the last 5 years (understandable may I had). But don't forget the HULL part. We're not a Man U or Man City. We are a one city club and that's HULL

With Harry Maguire, a centre half by trade, playing at right back there was always the danger of Bournemouth’s pacey attack causing problems.

The experienced duo of Michael Dawson and Curtis Davies recovered to allow Harry Maguire to move into the right-back position, whilst Abel Hernandez proved his fitness to start as the focal point in a 4-3-3 formatio

Harry Maguire, deputising for the injured David Meyler at right-back, could not resist a needless challenge on the jinking winger Ryan Fraser inside the penalty area.

Hull (4-4-1-1): Jakupovic 7; Maguire 6, Dawson 6, Davies 7, Robertson 8; Diomande 6.5, Huddlestone 6.5, Mason 6 (Livermore 86mins), Clucas 6.5; Snodgrass 7 (Evandro 77); Hernandez 8 (Niasse 82

From four match reports on the first page of Google, I'm surprised anyone thought Harry was playing anywhere other than right back.

Of course match reports are always right? Often from one source (PA) often wrong.

No problem, just post the ones that say we played three at the back.

One of those reports was Phil Buckingham's.
