I don't see why the RS fans bother. Every season for the past 26 years they have their hopes raised to be quickly dashed in the new year.

#kloppyflop keeps their hopes up but yet again history is going to repeat itself. Their team will be depleted and will be in serious decline in the league. And they try to put on a brave face in the Cup but again why do they bother? Kloppyflop has lost every final he's ever been. 2 finals last year 2 defeats.

United were 13 points behind the RS a few months ago. By next week it could be 2. The stench of #fearon their board is overwhelming<laugh>

Can't recall them being 13 points behind either, unless they had a game in hand for a day or so. I think they dropped as low as 10 behind for a week or 2, but usually it's been about 7 or 8. The latter being what it could be again by Sunday night.

The mid week game isn't going to help energy levels but no excuses we need to go there and be composed, concentration and a good balance between defence and attack will win this for us.
 
Cant wait for this game, been overseas for 3 weeks and arrive back on Sat night so I havent watched any football in a while.

I hope its an attacking match, i know you guys will but not sure what Jose will do. We've been pretty attacking lately so I think he may be a bit more gung ho than he usually is.
 
For a pressing game do we go with firmino up top with milner taking the place of mane?

With Coutinho coming back and mane at Acon only milner has the engine to help the press. I'd actually consider moreno for LB

I'm not expecting that

1. Mourinho is a pragmatist, he won't go all guns blazing in a big match see your first 0-0 draw
2. Klopp has recently been playing out for dour 1-0 wins in the big matches too (see city game, everton game, united game). Especially since he is playing away.

I expect it to be a cagey tight game especially with both teams having a lack of pace up top (see mane and Ibra).

Hoping to be wrong but i don't see an entertaining affair

Mourinho as never played an attacking game against us before so if he does, it will be totally unexpected!
