I hope that last night's game is a much needed wake up call.

It is possible also that the players had their minds on Sunday and kept something back rather than give everything.

Mourinho will be caught in two minds . He wants to win at homein front of their fans yet he'll be very worried about our fast counterattack. So Klopp will exploit this. I see a 1-0 to us like the Everton match.

Is it that fast without Mané?
No Matip, Henderson and Mané and Coutinho probably on the bench means we will probably put the same team out as Southampton.

We need more pace in the team I'd change it for Utd.

I think we have to trust the squad and put players in so that we play the same way, Coutinho wants runners and we're too static.

    Mingo
    Clyne Lovren Klavan Milner
    Lucas
    Lallana Coutinho
    Ojo Firmino Origi
Can has to be dropped which is why Lucas is in there, Stewart is another option but I'd play my nan before Can against Utd because his concentration is bad enough without him being involved in this type of game. Ojo in then as he's similar to Mane and Firminio as the false 9 dragging defenders around the place for Coutinho.

Wont happen but that's my team.

    Gini?

put Gini in centre with Lallana and move Cout to wide left in place of Origi.

That's what I'd go for too. However I think Klopp will play Origi instead of Ojo.

Didnt even see Ojo there. I wouldn't play him, didn't play great against Plymouth.

Origi centrel with Cout and Firm either side.

For the the only team to pick is

    Mingolet
    Clyne Matip lovren Milner
    Lallana Henderson Wijnaldum
    Origi Firmino Coutinho

the sick notes need to get off their death beds and get back playing.

Ideally, yes. However I think Karius will keep his place, Matip and Henderson won't feature and Coutinho will be on the bench.

I cant see him dropping Mig. He's kept 3 clean sheets in last 4 and only 1 goal from open play since he's come back. Would be huge kick in teeth for Mig

I think so too. But we need pace as we will under the cosh for large parts of the match.
Karius is klopp's no1 and I think he will feel that Karius has got his confidence back.

He will keep his Southampton formation, maybe bringing in Coutinho from the start. Sturridge on his day can make the difference so I think he will keep him too.

Shame mane matip and Henderson are not available as they would be the first names down on the sheet in each of the sections of the team.
