You know me Spes, glass is always 7/8ths full. But genuinely, based on all that we know about them, does anyone seriously assume that the new management team was all the Allam's work?
They are a pair of arseholes of the highest order, but they, well Assem anyway, aren't totally devoid of ideas on how to run a business, and any chairman would have looked at our situation and thought if I would like to protect my investment, it would be an idea to stay in this league and a manager who'd taken 13 from 20 games didn't suggest that would happen. Sadly, i'm a 7/8ths empty kind of guy and under these bastards can't see any daylight, they may have help in identifying them as targets, equally Silva's agent could have instigated contact, we don't know. I'd love you to be right I really would.

It's fine, they're on their way <ok>

Solicitors in London to talk with Gerard Lopez.

Stadium ownership being a major stumbling block for previous failed or deterred potential investors.

Is this a first meeting or is It much further down the line. Information is appreciated anyhow, keeps the light at the end of the tunnel alive for now.

That's quite surprising as the HCC had been quite vocal to a point about being prepared to sit down and discuss potential sale of the stadium with any prospective new owners .. although they have been quiet of late but I put that down to the fact that none of the potential buyers got past talking with Ehaw

I rarely post these days.

All gone quiet on that front. Deals where nearly done twice in a quick period of time due to the transfer window and now it's been months with not a sausage. So I think that silence speaks volumes.

Some of this guys associates and friends make me a bit nervous.

I don't know which Chinese group you know about but there's one interested Chinese party often at the stadium over the last few weeks.

I get the impression it is the first meeting.

The asking price is pretty high when the stadium isn't involved and the assets of players aren't great as we have a threadbare squad.

There's no sense of urgency from any potential owner Chinese or not. I imagine Gerard Lopez's interest might make any other potential buyers shore up or back out.
