They're very nice pictures, but they serve no purpose other than irritating people viewing on an iPad, as they take up loads of space. It doesn't matter about the odd post, but when someone posts a lot on one thread, it's like trying to read an article on the HDM website.
And it makes an iPad keep going down every minute or so. Very annoying indeed.
Are you both talking about Quill's signature? If so I use my iPad 90% of the time that I'm on the forum and don't have any issue with it. On the other hand if there are lots of videos, such as on the FNMT I often find it crashing.

I agree with this except I use my ipad 100% of the time and Quill's signature has not been a problem and at times FNMT can be a challenge.

I use my iPad or an iPhone
I never see anyone's signature
Presumably I've changed this in my setting at sometime? I don't remember doing that, but the site works well for me
I don't really ever bother with the FNMT though so wouldn't know how that works

Maybe people can turn signatures off?

You can turn signatures off.

Either hover over or click your user name at the top right of the page, and then select 'preferences'. Un tick the box next to "Show people's signatures with their messages".

Ah ok
I must have done that
Thinking about it I may have done it for work if some signatures were inappropriate. Anyway the site works well for me on iStuff

On a side note, BBC Radio 6Music held a poll for greatest Bowie album, and Hunky Dory won, which I was surprised by - really expected Ziggy Stardust to win it (I voted for Station to Station).
I love Hunky Dory but Ziggy Stardust would have got my vote.
