What two signings? Niasse and..?

All we've said is that it smells like ehab because we'd been linked to niasse beforehand.

Henriksen - he was on loan until this window - appreciate it was probably just a ratification from previous window as paperwork was late at time - anyway, I personally believe all signings were Ehabs and it was 'convenient' for some to blame Phelan for them even though we were linked to most of them under Bruce

Not really sure that can be counted as a January signing when it was done in the summer window.

Niasse must be better than Dio surely?... Everton saw fit to splash out £13.5m on him- with a bit of TLC from the staff and players and support from the fans, he might just find a home...it's not as if we are going to splash out £10m+ on some foreign gamble or on a Championship striker.
Just as important will be getting Hernandez back and firing. He's the only one of our current forwards who takes up the positions to actually score goals- assuming we can keep playing like we have over the past 5 or 6 games, I would be pretty confident a fit Hernandez would score a few...it then becomes about tightening up at the other end.

Why must he? Everton dropped him after about 100 minutes of football and he hasn't been seen since. Koeman said if he wanted to play he had to leave and he doesn't even have a locker there. They realised their mistake and want rid.

He's ****ing awful, quite how someone at Everton saw fit to pay £13.5m for this clown is beyond anyone with eyes in their head.

He's barely a footballer, let alone a PL footballer.

He'll give you a few laughs at least <ok>

Because Dio has had his chances, and he is just shocking....never in a million years is he a Premier League striker. Niasse is a free hit. We aren't going to spend £10m on anyone, and even if we did, £10m on a striker gets you a similar gamble from abroad anyway. Let's see if we get him, and then give him a chance- it can hardly make us any worse.

Shocking? He scored a lovely goal against Palace not three weeks ago, has the engine to pressure and press, is finding his touch, and is settled in the team. Niasse has generally been out of shape, has a horrible touch, can't score, and isn't a League One player.

Why don't we just sign Geovanni? We've got nothing to lose, and he can't be worse than Dio, right? <doh>
