The comments on the Beeb website are just as bad...

Harrison Short: "Given Liverpool's starting XI, surely this is the opportunity for Plymouth to take this game to them. Why sit back and defend?? "

Chris Townsend: "Could Plymouth have any less ambition and attacking intent?"

Yeah, why not come out and commit suicide and miss out on a potential money spinning replay...<doh>

Indeed. It's not like this is their only chance of winning. Were it to go to a replay, you'd assume that Liverpool would go equally weak again. But in that instance, Plymouth would be in front of their own fans! 0-0 would be a great result for them here, and right now that are achieving that.

And hey, a better delivery right on HT, and they might even have gone in 1-0 up.

I've had to turn the sound down, McManaman is winding me up so much!...

I haven't quite got to that stage yet. Although after 5 minutes of the Utd match yesterday, I did have to watch the whole of the game in silence. Hargreaves AND Darke is just too much. (Give me Peter Drury any day. Why on earth BT think Darke, and even Fletcher, is better than Drury and Champion, I have no idea. And almost all of their co-commentators are awful)

So Liverpool have had to call upon Sturridge. Over an hour has gone. But Plymouth are still to be laughed at and criticised...

Not at all.

They were playing against a weak pool side, fine they got a draw and a home game. Today was the money game, sure its nice for their stadium to be full with 17000 home fans but I can not see many scousers making that trip. Plymouth were well drilled with very flat 451 but will have to take more risks if they want to progress, today was the day to take a chance

They'll still be playing a weakened side but also get a great home tie under the lights.

What do you mean by you don't see many scousers making the trip? The away end will be sold out... or do you mean actual scousers?
