I have to agree with Black... with no other priorities Bournemouth should be taking the FA Cup seriously.

I wasn't disagreeing or agreeing with Black. I was just offering another valid explanation that might have influenced Eddie Howe's decision.

Always lots of reasons. He might have left 11 out who don't like playing against teams in blue.... he might not have :)

It also shows up the biggest failing of Howe/the football club: transfers. I read that they had in the region of £50m worth of purchased 'talent' on the pitch. Not only are these guys not good enough for the PL though, they're seemingly not even good enough for L1.

Cardiff v Fulham on the BBC Sport website at the moment.

Very empty stadium.

Lambert playing for Cardiff

Coutinho still not in the Liverpool squad. So even if he is fit again (I don't know the answer), he won't have had any matchtime under his belt going into Wednesday.

Can, Karius, and Origi all starting today maybe indicates they'll not be starting on Wednesday. (Although if Henderson is injured, and Lallana potentially needed further up the field, I'm not sure who they'd start if Can doesn't start)

Fair enough. I'm just suggesting that it wasn't for that reason and that it's because he doesn't care about the cup, which is a shame.

He was justified in it last year, should have gone stronger and shown more respect this year imo.

It's so sad that Rickie has to play with that dross. Easily the most composed player on their team but the service is god awful.

I was expecting Origi to start Wednesday, he still might.

Wonder if Sturridge will be fit to start then :(

Ah, just seen Liverpool's line up. Only Origi and Can worth kicking in that starting 11.

Indeed. If anything, kicking this XI could have the reverse effect - ie forcing Klopp into playing his best XI on Wednesday, when otherwise he might just have rested (or subbed early) one or two of them ahead of Man Utd away.

You'd think that either (a) Plymouth were 4-0 down, or (b) Plymouth were the side hosting a team three divisions below them, from the way that McManaman has laid into them all half. Peter Drury is trying his best to make him speak some sense.

The comments on the Beeb website are just as bad...

Harrison Short: "Given Liverpool's starting XI, surely this is the opportunity for Plymouth to take this game to them. Why sit back and defend?? "

Chris Townsend: "Could Plymouth have any less ambition and attacking intent?"

Yeah, why not come out and commit suicide and miss out on a potential money spinning replay...<doh>
