Too much is made of whether you're a rcb or lcb. If you're a CB you're a CB. Adapt your game slightly, no biggie, they get paid enough and train enough.
Agree he's decent, but it wouldn't be buying for the future. Couple of seasons max. Maybe if he was dirt cheap as a stop gap signing............
Good player but they're is no way we'll get Fonte imo. Too old and we're stocked at the back (even if Sakho left, he doesn't play)
I see a lot of kicks into fonte here which are quite unfair. The simple fact is hes a good player but a right side cb imo so... weve 2 or 3 there and i think a lcb is what we need

Do you seriously think Klopp would weaken the team over some petty argument? he has obviously realised (like many other people) that Sakho is nowhere near good enough and not worth the effort.
I place him third behind Matip & Klavan, in my world as Matip injured Sahko is a good replacement. Hoping to see Gomez as cb but would start him outside on right till more experienced then bring him in.
I'm sure Klopp had his reasons, perhaps didn't like authority undermined or thought Sakho would lower morale. Sakho definitely would have got game time this season, especially since he can play LB too (better than Moreno). I couldn't tell you Klopps motivation but strictly speaking from a pure football standpoint we've got worse players than Sakho who have had game time.
Sahko got off a drugs ban on a technicality. It's bad enough that he wasnt professional enough to avoid putting himself in that position but he left us exposed in that position in the run in for the season including the Europa league final. You'd have thought that his reprieve would have him wanting to put things right with Liverpool but he then rocks up late, misses physio when injured and generally plays the fool around Klopp. He let us down....I'm glad Klopp is getting shot...I actually think Klopp rated him at one point but also think that he's never really forgiven him for being such a cock.
