Agree he's decent, but it wouldn't be buying for the future. Couple of seasons max.
Maybe if he was dirt cheap as a stop gap signing............

I agree now with him being 33 but roll back a couple of years and he was boss.
I see a lot of kicks into fonte here which are quite unfair.

A lot of wasted talent letting him go. Especially since he's someone we really could have used.
Do you seriously think Klopp would weaken the team over some petty argument? he has obviously realised (like many other people) that Sakho is nowhere near good enough and not worth the effort.
I'm sure Klopp had his reasons, perhaps didn't like authority undermined or thought Sakho would lower morale.
Sakho definitely would have got game time this season, especially since he can play LB too (better than Moreno). I couldn't tell you Klopps motivation but strictly speaking from a pure football standpoint we've got worse players than Sakho who have had game time.
Sahko got off a drugs ban on a technicality. It's bad enough that he wasnt professional enough to avoid putting himself in that position but he left us exposed in that position in the run in for the season including the Europa league final. You'd have thought that his reprieve would have him wanting to put things right with Liverpool but he then rocks up late, misses physio when injured and generally plays the fool around Klopp. He let us down....I'm glad Klopp is getting shot...I actually think Klopp rated him at one point but also think that he's never really forgiven him for being such a cock.
