Even when we play at our best we aren't half as good as United, Mourinho wants to win this trophy so he'll put out a strong side, they'll dick us. If I was him, I wouldn't do anything against Swansea except play the same team we did against WBA (bar Marshall) and see if he can work out where we went wrong and then ****ing fix it. We'll try to the win the game, naturally, I just don't see that eventuality.
We did ok against a full strength United at the start of the season. Granted some of them were still finding their feet, but they'd won their first two games so it wasn't as if they were struggling.
Any information on how player recruitment and scouting has gone at his previous clubs Have his signings been hit or miss And does he have any players that tend to follow him from club to club?
"We are good enough to [stay up] if we play out best players in their best positions" "Switch Jake and Harry"
But as you know, there is a major reason why crowds as a whole are way down at the moment. I'd be a bit disappointed if people who are staying away made an exception for a higher profile game.
What happens if those teams also play their players (who are much better than ours) in their 'best' positions? If Silva plays Clucas at LWB will he immediately be stupid because he can't see what everyone on here can see? I'm particularly excited to see the reaction when Marshall still starts. He was only playing because we paid big money for him while Phelan was manager, right?
Yesterday on Burnsy, Buckingham said that in an interview with Phelan and the upcoming visit to Manure that the Swansea game was a nothing game..
To be honest I wouldn't, like with the Play Off Final. These experiences don't come around that often for a club like ours.
Yep. So the next time Marshall punches it into his net and Silva drops him people won't wet their pants that his confidence has now been shattered because the big bad manager dropped him, right?
I don't think many people have been boycotting games away from the KCOM anyway have they? I was thinking more of home ties.
Both legs of the League Cup tie are what I'm referring to. This is our first ever semi final in the League Cup.
