So what did Ternent say? PS. Bummers, maybe you should have listened at school: http://www.bcu.ac.uk/courses/marketing-advertising-and-public-relations-ba-hons-2017-18
He said Hull was the worst place he'd ever been and the only good thing to come out of it was the M62. What's the relevance of the link?
I've coached at various teams from semi pro down but always said once my lad was old enough to play I would coach his team so am at Cottingham Rangers under 7's at moment. Very rewarding but also very frustrating.
Rubbish. There's some brilliant English coaches in this country. I also did my coaching badges last Summer.
Though he could have walked when Bruce did. It was obvious with how long it took to appoint him that he was the far down the list and was a last resort choice.
There is some brilliant coaches in this country I agree, but unfortunately as seen at the very top level we are not producing good enough players compared to other countries and that lies with our vastly dark age approach to coaching players. I never said all I just said in comparison to other countries, you only have to look at the talent they are producing compared to us. That is something the FA acknowledges but unfortunately like I say, this is the first season I have coached a team at under 7 level (always been older) and from what I've seen of some of the other coaches, it isn't getting better.
Yeah it can be very rewarding, my daughter started at 6 i ended up creating a club in the end still help run them but taken a back seat so to speak
So this silva fella Comes with a pretty impressive cv regardless of what people think of the quality of leagues hes coached in Young at 39, apparntly plays attractive football, sounds like hes highly thought of within football circles The thing i do like is the news of ternants departure, ive been angling on here about our scouting setup needing a revamp hopefully this is it. Lots of online databases that teams use for player scouting, teams like sevilla make a killing from using them effectivley. Hopefully this guy can implement something as fruitful, time to get with the times in this department. I kimda liked the thought of rowett, but the more i think about this appointment the more i think why not the guy will bring a whole new bunch if ideas and methods hopefully
He might bring some new ideas but we need some new bodies. He might not have the right connections to get PL standard bodies in in the next 3 weeks.
He'll have the right connections alright - it's persuading them to come to the north of England in January to fight a relegation battle that'll be the hardest part
Great signing. He puts the teams playing well and as a great relationship with the players. They go to war for him. He's the best young coach in Portugal and already managed teams like my Sporting Clube de Portugal and Olympiakos. Saying this doesn't mean we don't need more players because we do. Its a year and a half contract but if we go down Marco can opt out.
That they are and we will only really see the results towards the end of this period but I still believe we are a long way short in some areas of coaching.
Shut the **** up with the whining, you whinging Aussie tart ...... me, me, me, me, me ...... and they reckon Poms whinge
