As a season ticket (I mean membership !!) holder and living in a part of North Yorkshire unable to receive BBC Radio Humberside on my radio I subscribe to Hull City Player and find Burnsy and Swanny fairly good listening. BUT it seems they have been sacked and it's the awful Radio Viking with dreadful adverts and rubbish commentary. IS THIS THE ALLAM'S DOING because Burnsy and Swanny have the nerve to criticise the ALLAM's if so this is another step too far and smacks of totalitarism.
I've cancelled my subscription to Hull City Player and will now drive to the top of a hill and listen live to BBC Radio Humberside

I don't know the answer to that, but why is it that they can't just put it on Radio Humbs website?
I could sort of understand it if there was a total ban on online commentary streaming during games, but there can't be if it goes out on Hull City Player?

And drive them down again :emoticon-0159-music

Polo Guy finds time to fall out with the BBC now. Amazing that with his busy schedule of searching the globe for players to get us out the relegation quicksand, he still finds time to snub the nation's broadcaster.
Well done. Another bridge burnt, yet another fall out.
In the meantime, no prospect of sale or new larkers.

Viking commentary is more focused on the game wheras Burnsey & Swanny were messing around a lot, they were funny but you didn't get the flow of the game

That said, they were critical and clearly the Allmas don't want that which is a sad reflection of a dictatorship

Spot on analysis on Radio Humberside.
Burnsy said today , this season is for the owners to pocket the wealth created by the Premier League with a minimal outlay whilst quite happily accepting relegation.

Same old..same old on Blunderside..Burnsey waxing lyrically about how great City were (at half-time numbnuts) when you just knew that the second half was going to be a complete disaster....I counted six DEAR-DEARs from about 16:08 until I turned off and put 5Live on when Burns started to do my head in..
As for Matt Dean he has to be the most incompetent prat on the entire BBC

What an opportunity for the Sphinxter and his lad: piss off the fans, the council and even the PL, who refused the back their name change abortion, all in one go.

By refusing to spend the PL money, they go against the whole point of being given it in the first place: to provide top quality football in a league attempting to be best in the world. "You wouldn't agree to our name change, so we're taking our ball home."

Chickens coming home to roost...
God I hope the supposed AP consortium comes home, but I've got a feeling its another false flag..

What wealth are they pocketing??
Lazy journalism from the fat ****. What a surprise.
We had a small outlay in the summer. It was spent poorly by phelan.
We're 80 or is it 90 million in debt. Would you continue funding the club/players out of your own pocket?
Most of the money we get goes straight to the players.

Why didn't burns and swan eh stick to dissecting the performance and where we went wrong? Can they do that do they have a clue? Do they ****.
They're ****ing awful to listen to, If the club have switched maybe it's cos they've listened to enough of us on here calling them.

I don't buy that. The money was there to be spent:

£13m - Mason
£5m - Henriksen
£5m - Marshall
£1m - Keane
£1m - Weir

And however much Mbokani costs

£25m there which is a lot of money. If they were planning on pocketing it all and investing nothing we'd have had a couple of freebies and low cost transfers and bids for Maguire etc. would have been accepted.

I think it's fair to say they ****ed up but the evidence suggests our current position is absolutely not by design.

We haven't paid anything for Henriksen yet and Marshall was £5m after add-on's, if that included discounts for goals conceded, he's probably only cost us £50 so far.

Selling the club at a profit would have been pocketing the money. What they are doing to City makes no sense.
