Ugh. Great finish from Lukaku but these end of game collapses are a little concerning.

Am I the only one on here who woke up this morning, realised it was a match day, and thought "Oh no, not again...?"
Strangely; just got off a aircraft not realising we were playing tonight wandered into a bar in Muscat as the penalty went in and thought oh well; losing again... nothing new there... and then a third... we are total %€£¥ at the moment, happy clappers please respond...

Right. I've been patient but,

Puel out.

Not now, because making midseason managerial changes tends to be a spiral over time; you're picking over much thinner offerings. At the end of the season is a different matter, however.

That's a big worry, we go behind and the heads just drop straight away. One thing we've always done in the past 2 seasons is to never give up and came back in several games, but no more I fear. No leaders on or off the pitch ??

Puel really needs to go back to basics. Barring injuries or suspensions, pick your best back 4 and stick with it for several games, stop all the constant changes. Also pick you best 2 CM and stick with them. Again very little fluidity today.

I agree with your view on fluidity and consistency, however you just can't do that with three games in 6 days. We've also had 2 games a week, nearly every week.

Maybe it illustrates that the only reason why we've been defensively secure, is because we're set up defensively. The moment we try and properly attack (getting bodies forward, trying a risky forward pass etc), the defence crumbles to pieces and we ship goals all over the place.

It's the fault of the board, and the players, and the manager.
