Actually, I can now see why Morgan might choose WBA over us (in the hypothetical world where we do indeed want him!)

Ugh. Great finish from Lukaku but these end of game collapses are a little concerning.

Yet you seem to want to chastise the views of those that try and keep feet on the ground and point out that the club still has some virtues???

    One rule for one....

The squad is fairly average. Lots of new players and manager on top of losing Mane, Pelle and Wanyama. Time to escape here.

Strangely; just got off a aircraft not realising we were playing tonight wandered into a bar in Muscat as the penalty went in and thought oh well; losing again... nothing new there... and then a third... we are total %€£¥ at the moment, happy clappers please respond...

Shocking capitulation. Absolute shambles from 75 mins onwards.

Not now, because making midseason managerial changes tends to be a spiral over time; you're picking over much thinner offerings. At the end of the season is a different matter, however.

That's a big worry, we go behind and the heads just drop straight away. One thing we've always done in the past 2 seasons is to never give up and came back in several games, but no more I fear. No leaders on or off the pitch ??

Think what's worrying me most (aside from the excessive tinkering) is that whenever we concede a goal we just give up and look beaten.

I agree with your view on fluidity and consistency, however you just can't do that with three games in 6 days. We've also had 2 games a week, nearly every week.

Immense run from Boufal. Another decent chance fluffed.

Maybe it illustrates that the only reason why we've been defensively secure, is because we're set up defensively. The moment we try and properly attack (getting bodies forward, trying a risky forward pass etc), the defence crumbles to pieces and we ship goals all over the place.

It's the fault of the board, and the players, and the manager.

Brilliant from Boufal there, wasted by Jay.
