I'm with you there. I automatically take them into the family when they join, am delighted when they do well, and am absolutely certain they will improve if they don't. And if they are injured I want to kiss them better (but am not allowed toWhile they wear red and white, I can easily get attached. I don't sign up to the no attachment approach. They are in my team they get my full, unequivocal support. In my mind, there is no condition and I'll deal with a departure when it happens.
No half way house for me.
We have some real quality in the team but our failure to replace pellet and mane means we are scoring less.

The second one.I think Virgil Van Dijk is legend material. I genuinely believe, with admittedly very little evidence, that he is Southampton through and through. Most of the others are probably mercenaries, but Virgil is our boy. So is JWP. And Steven Davis. In fact I love Steven Davis.
