It wasn't a question anyway, 'cos there was no question mark !
I said 'was no' in anticipation of a correction . . . . although there might not be one after saying this.

'cos is grammatically bullshit. Cos isn't short for because. It's just wrong.

An ellipsis has 3 full stops. Four is overkill and means nothing.

You don't put spaces between the final word of a sentence and your punctuation mark.

It was very much a question. Let's not be ****ers on the internet now or it will be a question directly pointed at you.

... How was that for a correction.

A lot of thing in life seem a little daft to me and sometimes annoying.

Like, why do we spell Philippines with a 'Ph' but we spell Filipino with a 'F <<<< like that :emoticon-0121-angry

Why do we continuously help the Yanks out when they turned their back on us in 1940 :emoticon-0121-angry

Why does the Easter bunny carry eggs? Rabbits don't lay eggs :bandit:

Because like most of the Christian festivals it existed before Christianity came along and conveniently have events at the same times of the year. Easter is about the start of Spring and all about fertility hence rabbits and eggs, it isn't the rabbit laying the egg just the two things together as a representation of fertility.

But Rabbits lay eggs still, right?

What come first the rabbit or the egg? When did Jesus introduce the tortoise. FFS, now I'm confused.

This stuff goes way over my head, but it seems quite impressive. You didn't put a ? at the end, though.

That's 'cos he thinks that he's cleverer, and knows better, than anybody else, but he doesn't seem to understand humour, which is all that I meant :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I try to make my humour as simple, and as obvious, like in this case, as possible, but some don't appreciate my innocent intent, so I apologise for over-estimating some on here <sorry> . . . . and some things that seem to be 'impressive' might still be rubbish, like in this case, so don't give too much credence to someone talking absolute bollocks :emoticon-0105-wink:

Anyway, if you don't understand something that someone has said you, perhaps, shouldn't say anything :emoticon-0100-smile

To maintain the theme of the thread . . . . why would you ?

n.b. quite a bit of Yellow Tail Chardonnay has helped in the making of this post (and I've had to correct a few initial errors after re-reading) so this wine should be mentioned in the credits :emoticon-0105-wink:

p.s. the thing about 4 dots instead of the grammatically correct 3 is to do with my preference, and **** all to do with 'what's right' . . . . the reference to it is just something to do with being pedantic :cheesy:

I know this wasn't even aimed at me but you really do come across as pedantic, condescending and arrogant.

Your crack with grammar is hideously tedious and any time someone calls you out about something you go on with your sneaky/snide side comments about people while not actually talking directly to them (such as the one above).

This 'mod' status seems to have given you your self righteous pedestal back you seem to think you're entitled to.

I think we just disagree on what humour is. In didn't used to look through my marked English homework and giggle my arse off at my teacher's notes.
