I'd have Bowen on our subs bench ahead of Mason and Hendriksen currently. I don't think he is far off first team standard.

I tend to agree, he has impressed both in the U23's as well as when he has come on late in games for the first team.

Under normal circumstances I'd agree with loaning young players out who are not far from being ready for the first team, unfortunately though circumstances are currently far from normal at City. The atmosphere must be almost as toxic for the players as it is for supporters, and on that basis any young players that leave on loan may enjoy being at their new club a little too much and want to stay, and if that was to be the case it wouldn't surprise any of us if Eshite was to let them leave for tuppence ha'penny.
Depending on what happens over the next month, I think it's probable that Edwards will stay with us for the rest of the season, he's got half a chance of joining the first team.
I think a couple of the young lads deserve a few more minutes what phelan thinks is another matter, diomande isnt going to score the goals to keep us up id honestly rather develop bowen or edwards than pesevere with somebody like diomande who wont be at the club long ala sagbo, prozzy etc etc

Slightly harsh. Phelans lucky to get the job in the first place, so he doesn't want to upset the apple cart by annoying the nutter. A big as character as Bruce was he couldn't handle Ehab, Phelan who's slightly more laid back doesn't have a prayer. To be honest no manager in their right mind does.
