Right now it is fair to say that we are appreciably the worst team in the division. I just cannot see us avoiding relegation.
Can't help feeling watching this embarrassment that the problems started from the top. It just doesn't help having owners that don't understand football.
It's all geared up for them to get top flight football and the Sky love in.....we are a million miles away from even being a decent Championship club with the infrastructure that is required.....
Hearing them chant "we're top of the league...we're Brighton and Hove Albion, we're top of the league..." is sickening. A small club on the south coast with a relatively small following, but just well run with players who give a damn. I'm both pleased for them, and disgusted at our position.
The worry for me is Olly might walk first. I don't think he's the best person for the job, but we can't afford another change and Tony and Les haven't shown they have the nous to make a decent choice if Olly did go. Ned was unlucky - he was fouled and didn't go down, so it looked bad from behind.
Wasn't long ago they were still talking about promotion hopes. Utter rubbish. Need to somehow stay in this league and get rid of SLF asap. Can't see anyone wanting to join us in January. All about damge limitation now.
SLF needs to be held responsible for this ****ing mess..Why we need a DOF is beyond me.stank of appeasement imo
Club needs some serious billionaires in this mess will take a lot to sort from squad to stadium and facilities.
Out on family walk but asked my lads to let me know if 3 nil or worse so I did not waste my afternoon. Got the dreaded phone call at 2pm. Talk about a crucial Jan window - if not too late already.
