& you would have thought after 2 nights of rioting the police in Lewisham should not be giving some young kid grief and trying to bundle him in a riot van in front of loads of witnesses which has sparked the scenes of today

So they should have a quite word with him and ask him to politely behave?

Plenty of trouble in other places and I live next to Lewisham, trust me they would have kicked off tonight regardless ;)

13 years of a Labour government will do that everytime<ok>

Poor ****ing kids have no hope and no future, I know three graduates who are working in fast food outlets for Christ's sake. <grr>

He wasn't misbehaving according to the sky news eyewitness report hence it kicking off their - not doubting there would have been trouble but surely the police at this time should be watching what they doinstead of provoking folk?

Like these things have got much to do with party politics...

Twenty years ago the disturbances were about much needed Civil Rights.

These are about civil wrongs, gangsters as role models, disregard and crass materialism.

These little ****s aren't doing this in the name of a cause or as a protest, they are doing it simply to loot and destroy property.I don't give a **** if they have no money and no prospects welcome to most people's lives. They shoot send out the water cannons and the rubber bullets like when i was in Northern Ireland.that would soon sort out the ****ing scum.
