If its a toss up of Liverpool or China, then its has to be the land of the rising.....but I'd really prefer him to enjoy his last couple of seasons if I'm honest.
How about the most capped Curacao player of all time? Enthusiastic right back that has a "fantastic" four goals (ever) to his name and is being touted as the next big signing for the biggest and most historical club on Merseyside....Everton. That's surely got to convince a Chinese club to part with £30 mil at least.
Land of the rising what HR? Japan has already laid claim to the rising sun, so maybe China is the land of the rising population
According to The Telegraph, he told a judge that he poured what he thought was Diet Coke from a jug at a party, and despite a strange taste, he continued to drink it. Touré was the designated driver for a group and while he felt “tired,” he did not suspect he was drunk, and drove them home with twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system. Toure drink driving is getting even more weird. " The coke tasted weird" haha
It's not entirely impossible; he's a practicing Muslim who states that he doesn't drink (I don't know that he doesn't), and if so might not recognize the taste in a mixed beverage like rum & coke. It'd also mean getting drunk faster than you can really process that you're getting drunk. Not saying it's likely, but it's one of the more believable weird excuses that I've heard for drunken driving.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...ving_huge_notice_period_at_Tottenham/?ref=rss This is a weird one. Paul Mitchell is serving a 16 month paid notice period at Spurs....though will leave if they find a replacement. Poch says he is still working...so not on gardening leave. I wonder what happened to make him want to leave so soon after arriving....said to be unhappy at recruitment policy. Did he have another job offer which pissed Spurs off? How much enthusiasm would you have when you really want to leave...presumably his 'work' is mainly pen pushing now.
Not really. All he had to do is ask why the coke tasted weird and why it was in a jug! It's a bullshit excuse.
If I drank a coke and it tasted weird....I wouldn't drink it, pure and simple. And as an athlete you would think he watched what he ate/drank.
Was probably too pissed from all the other booze he consumed to notice dodgy coke, I know I usually am
Depending on how fast they get that deal all wrapped up, his first match could potentially be against us on Jan 2nd.
