Would that be clean-shaven, sensible haircut and suit Eddie Howe, by any chance?

He took over at the start of the 2008-9 season in League 2 with them on -17 points!

    Some turnaround.

Fortunately Southgate has been given the Ingerland job
(so no distractions for Eddie during the rest of the season) .

Amazing work being done at B'mouth. Such a shame that Twat had to join them on loan as I had really grown fond of them after last season.

Didn't see think the Everton result was on the cards. Means we have a chance to narrow the gap to Arsenal to a more respectable 4 points tomorrow, which no doubt means we'll find a way to screw it up and draw 1-1 <laugh>

I've done my fair share of doom-mongering on here recently, but upcoming fixtures could favour us...

This coming weekend, Arsenal travel to City and Liverpool have the Merseyside derby to deal with. Then on the last day of the year, City travel to Anfield.

The worrisome thought in all of this is that Chelsea have a relatively easy run-in to the new year. They could well be 7 points clear at the top by January; a thought that turns my stomach.

Liverpool drop Karius in favour of Mignolet. That really is 'The Siberian Dilemna' for you. Could they not pick their third choice?

Oh no, I forgot it's Alex Manninger. He's every bit as bad as he was at Arsenal and now he's really old as well.

Tricky one. What happens now if Mignolet is either crap or gets injured?
Might've been better to persist with Karius until January, unless they've got someone lined up.
His form hasn't justified selection, though.

Never good when a manager spends a whole week mouthing off to the media in defense of a player and then drops said player at the next available opportunity. Poch did it earlier this year with Janssen and it really sends out a terrible message both to the player and to the fans.

All this after Mousers have been publicly supporting Karius and even going as far as to say he'd cemented his spot at Anfield - not for anything he did on the pitch, mind you, but because he started publicly bickering with Gary Neville.

Just and FYI to our Liverpudlian lurkers, Spurs fans wouldn't say Federico Fazio had saved his Spurs career if he started bickering with Piers Moron.

I've spent considerable time pondering this Mouser dilemma. I've come to the conclusion, **** 'em!...who gives a toss?...

What does Rojo have to do in order to get sent off? Second time in three matches he hasn't walked, and the one in between he doesn't get a pen awarded against him. Sometimes it seems there's a memo sent to refs to tell them to avoid major punishment against certain players, like Costa earlier in the season who should have had two reds in successive matches. And the pundits (because it's too much for their brain to comprehend) trot out the usual cliches like it all evens out over the season which is complete bollocks as these wrong decisions impact on the whole season.

Third time in three, in my opinion. His foul on Wanyama prevented a clear goalscoring opportunity deliberately.

"Zlatan Ibrahimovic concedes he might have handled the ball in the build-up to Paul Pogba's opener for Manchester United." - BBC.
I'm sure that Palace fans will be delighted with that. MOTD will be calling for his head, I guess. Or not.
