I'm at home with the kids tonight while the wife is out with some friends. I am particularly grateful to Mr J Stones for keeping me thoroughly entertained this evening. Everton must be laughing all the way to the bank.

I wonder what he'd be like if he played with some better players around him and a more pragmatic game plan? The current Citeh set up is the perfect storm of **** ups. A dodgy 'keeper behind flaky central defenders and aged full backs who are under orders to piss about on the ball in their own half and near to goal. Add in that everyone knows they are going to do it in every game and it's like being surprised to see sharks when you've chummed up the ocean. Truly bizarre.

I said at the time that they signed him that playing alongside Kompany week in, week out could make a class defender out of him. Much like Pique evolved from over-confident United flop to one of the best in the world thanks to years alongside Puyol. I've no doubt that Pep saw Stones as his next 'Pique project'. The glaringly obvious flaw in that plan is the fact that they'll be lucky if Kompany completes 10 games a season at the rate he is deteriorating injury-wise. I strongly suspect they'll make a bid for Toby in the summer as he fits the Pep system perfectly, but even stronger is my belief that Levy and the player himself will tell them to kindly go **** themselves.

As the phrase goes :

See the signs and know the time. You know what time it is.

If Spurs have any upward ambition then tomorrow is the time to show it.
Citeh could slump badly while Aguero is not there to salvage victories for them.

Gloom returns.... Spammers now 2 -1 after 40 mins. That keeper is a liability....

Clusterfuck misses Mane punching (weakly) Carroll in the midriff. Similar to Dele against WBA last year. Wonder if there will be a retrospective ban for a Mouser??? Commentators barely mention it......

Bit harsh on Harry

Harry very much had a pair until the mid-season onset of an uncontrollable boner over the england position. We bottled the second half of that season good n proper. Then we had AVB who needed Bale's healthy Welsh schlong to keep the blood pumping, then we castrated ourselves and we now have a very talented but at the same time very naiive manager who, on the basis of a year and a half's evidence, seems incapable of inspiring the team to raise their game. So much so that the only game we know all 11 players will turn up for is the Arsenal game. The other 36 games you might as well flip a coin and hope for the best.
