The media interest is driven by fan interest. Dortmund v Spurs is the bigger game when considering on pitch quality. Man Utd v Liverpool is the two biggest supported clubs in the world squaring up!
Liverpool v united could be the downfall of LVG or the making of him ............ ? no wumming please
There is fck all "making of van gaal" he's beat livpl 4 times in a row both rodgers and klopp. It's par for the course these days Sadly there's no "downfall of van gaal" either as the fcker is staying to the end of the season regardless.
i think United should keep faith with LVG, he will get you to top 4 again albeit slowly. you really don't want Jose, he will spunk loads of money and may not get top 4, and then he will **** off after a couple of seasons. which then would make it about 5 years since last won the league and United would be on to their 5th manager post Fergie [Giggs, Moyes, Lvg, Jose] which would average a manager a season almost !! united would be more like Littlepool in always spunking money and every manager being the One and next year is our year ! United should stick with LVG and either promote Giggs when he goes, or just get Poch in now
Nice try, mate! I'd love to see them keep him. Unfortunately, for the rest of us, I'm sure he'll be gone come the end of the season. A pity, really, they might actually start playing football again!...
We've had more than our fair share of success. First and foremost it's about the quality of our football and the development of our players. The rest will follow. He is wholly incompetent at both those things. He is like a cancer at the club.
As the years go by, and United tail off into mid-table obscurity, as 'Pool has been doing for a few seasons, now, the plastics will spend their money on other sides, probably turning to the German, French and (especially) Spanish giants, as their leagues are far more predictable than ours. Now that United have joined 'Pool (with Arsenal sure to join, when Wenger leaves), ours is not a good league for glory-hunting plastics any more.
