This game is only of passing iterest seeing as 2 huge clubs have been drawn against each other. Dortmund to win easily.

As a neutral (although I do support any British team in Europe) I have to say that I would much rater see the Dortmund Spurs encounter than anouther bore draw home counties derby :)

Fiorentina are a very good side. Currently third in Serie A. Yet, we have them a spanking. I hope they actually don't realise it, but Dortmund are in for one hell of a fight!

...I don't think the Italian league is the strongest tbf ... Fiorentina were ranked 43rd on UEFAs pre season rankings ... 2 places behind Metalist Kharkin and 3 below the Mousers ..... Dortmund on the other hand <laugh>

Not really the way to judge it, is it? Where were Leicester ranked?

Serie A is ranked 4th, below La Liga, the Prem and the Bundesliga.
Fiorentina are currently third, above the likes of Roma, Inter, Milan and Lazio.
Should we view your side as being crap, as they weren't ranked highly at the start of the season?

  10. It's going to be tough, no doubt about that; but you'd have to say that the winner of this match is going to be one of the favourites to lift the trophy. If we can beat Dortmund over two legs, we deserve to be considered one of the favourites, too.

UEFA's rankings are horseshit. The Bundesliga ain't exactly the strongest in Europe, to say the least.

Like I say, I hope Dortmund think they're in for an easy time! :emoticon-0116-evilg

No we are top of the Prem ... so allowing for your league rankings that should place Fiorentina somewhere close to Palace ... so you should be doubly pleased given the result at the weekend <whistle>

You and Palace probably have a similar UEFA ranking. None.
I'd guess that they've actually won a European game at some point, though.
Wonder if you'll break your duck next season after half of your team have left? Probably not.

You don't seem to understand how the transfer window works, unfortunately.
    Don't worry. You'll find out soon. <ok>

... don't judge every club by your own club's 'selling club' mentality ... we have only sold players surplus to requirements since King Power took over ... contrast that with Spuds under Daniel Levy's Trotter's Independent Traders regime ... no money back, no guarantee <laugh>
