I read that Tan bought him through his 'other club' then immediately loaned him to us to 'gain more experience'. Would agree if it had been the other way round. Obviously nothing to do with the fact that we were under a transfer embargo at the time (again - though haven't had one for a while
- created a lot of external noise from down west out umbongoes).
They reportedly paid £1M, but cant find what we paid them.(I'd have guessed at £50k if it had been the swans
