Only if he wants to go. There are good reasons why now is not a good time to take over. Their league form was poor, they have some ageing but very spoilt players in their team that will resist anything they don't like and he might not fancy having to win the CL to keep his job.

Probably be Low or Tite from Brazil. Two of the Real players are in his squad plus Neymar who is probably the player that Real covet the most at the moment

No, I said it would be funny if it had little or no release amount, I doubt it has though.

I don’t know anything about it. What’s your lot’s take on it ?

There are some good managers, like Hughton and Eddie Howe that would do a good job in the long run. However at this stage it would mean rebuilding the whole club as there would be an exodus of our top players if we went that way.

Hughton is a good shout. David Moyes would another one who’d be in the frame.

I would imagine that there is no such clause. He had a few years left on the old deal, not sure why Levy would tempt fate. I genuinely think Pochettino has spent too long and worked too hard to get us into the position we are, to then up and leave before we find out whether it will pay off.

He'd be welcome back any day of the week.

I don’t think Levy would contemplate a release clause as he must be totally aware that keeping Poch is crucial to keeping many of the squad. I also think that Poch genuinely wants to see project 2 through to a conclusion

Unless he thinks it isn’t paying off already because Levy won’t pay the going rate for wages. (Despite doubling his own) and has negotiated a clause into his own contract renewal to move on if a club that can match his ambition comes calling.

That's not my reading of the man. He wouldn't have signed the deal if he didn't get the assurances he wanted.

Hughton was on your coaching staff for years wasn't he? Former Spurs player, learned his new trade from the bottom up, knows the PL. |You could do a lot worse.

As for losing your top players, if Poch goes you'll struggle to hold onto them whoever you get - just because you won't pay the wages other clubs will.

I think that's changing now though.

Poch signing a new £165k a week deal was a big statement in my opinion. Sanchez also signed a new one and although no one seems to have reported how much his wages are now, he was rumoured to have been on £70k, so I'd imagine that's gone up by roughly £15k-£20k at the least, which likely puts him on more than most other 21 year olds in Europe.

Kane, Alli, Vertonghen and Eriksen are also supposedly in talks for new contracts.

The usual idiots will keep wumming away and pray that Pochettino leaves us.

In the meantime, Real will find another manager elsewhere and we’ll carry on as before, <ok>

I'm sure you are right, I am looking forward to official confirmation of the next Real manager though.

If carrying on before is the goal then they don’t have to worry about you as a serious title challenger.
