Said on another thread Arsenal done the same when they signed Alan Smith from Leicester all those years ago. Palace get to keep Zaha till season end Man U don't have to wait until summer when his value rises and more clubs enter the bidding if Palarse go up to the prem his transfer fee would rise as well.

If someone offered 4 million for Albert but we retain him until summer I would be well happy.
