Dai, he would have been an asset in January given that Dyer was expected to be out until mid/end February and that Pablo is prone to injury. However, with Nathan, Wayne and Pablo all fit, he doesn't even make our bench when everyone is fit.

 

Zaha may well turn out to be a quality winger. but not yet. If he was that highly thought of he wouldnt have been sent to a club bound for the Championship and play long ball missing out the midfield. No wonder when he gets the ball he takes everyone on as he doesnt see it that often. Nathan Dyer on the other hand is an established PL player and has done so for the last 3 years. At the moment there is no comparison.

But all england managers have a habit of taking young no hopers to big tournaments. They have to have someone to carry the players boots and put the kit out. Oh and not to forget making a nice cup of tea for the manager.

 

I'm curious to know what 10 clubs were chasing him , Dyer's scored more goals then him , experienced and doesn't go hiding in games .Maybe one for the future but not at the moment , he can watch and learn from better players and then we'll see .

Zaha's potential means jackshit right now because the World Cup is just a few months away, he may be in Cardiff's starting XI but he is behind Dyer, Routs and Pablo by quite some distance.
