Not really into heavy metal but I take the point. Just didn't want another article taken over by the 'racist' debate - eek what am I doing!
Returning to the thread title, I've just been on the Hull boards and tried to talk sensibly with them, but I just got abuse. They're a bunch of bitter bastards.
my mum loved the black and white minstrells but shes not racial in fact she named her daughter rachel
Now you are talking Scarborough, good music collection m8. All these fools got to say when we come on here is we are racist because we are from Hull because they can't string together a decent sentence. Btw in case you want to call me a racist my 1st wife was from South Africa.
I've yet to see even a jocular racist comment from a Leicester fan on 606 or Not 606. Hull and Leeds on the other hand...
Old Peculiar. Me and the family want on our hols to Whitby this year. Good times were had. There was a pub there that sold proper OP which my old boy and I had a couple of most nights. The Board Inn, officially the best brew both me and the old lad, have ever had. Yes the best pint EVER. For the record again = The Board Inn, Whitby!!!!
If you go to the game in Hull when you play us, try Ye Olde White Harte in the town centre before the game. The Old Peculiar in there is AMAZING.
There is quite a few nobs on the Hull board Viking Erik and Cheshireben are the biggest 2 followed by OLM. Erik is a boring wum and Cheshireben is like a 10 year old who has just found out a few swear words. OLM is a hypocrite
We really are not all that bad, our board is the same as all the others on here that 2 or 3 posters give us a bad name! I personally accept that when we took Pearson you would come on our board and tell us he's **** (I know I would have done) and if it wasn't for the fact that we all know he's not, I'd be on here telling you he's **** too!! I am disappointed that he's leaving, it's nothing to do with his choice of club, he has done a great job for us and he will do a great job for Leicester too. The Leicester - Hull rilvarly that's been created on here is just a laugh and I think some people are a bit too emotionally unstable to use a message board. Good luck to Nigel, if it wasn't for his management we wouldnt be in a position to appoint a decent manager to replace him to come and manage what is (despite what you think) a good Championship squad. He goes with my blesssing and apart from when we play you, I hope he succeeds!
Thanks Legend. From what I remember quite a few LCFC posters went on the old BBC 606 board and told you that you had a gem and that Shaky and Steve Walsh would do a real job for you. Think the only negative thing we said was dont listen to post match interviews - its like watching grass grow. He has proved himself to be an excellent manager, not only for yourselve and us, but we had numerous comments from Saints fans when he was first appointed for us saying they should have made him permanent. We know that a lot of negative comments are simply wind ups cos we know the man, and he knows us. Moreimportantly, he already knows a lot of our squad, not just the ones who were here before, but also experienced Championship players like Danns and Nugent. Mind you - he hasnt officially been apointed yet. Good luck for the rest of the season
According the the local newspaper in Hull their owner is making the move as difficult as he can for us. Rob Tanner said its just a waiting game now Neither Nigel Pearson or Steve Walsh was at Hull training ground yesterday and Craig Shakespeare was their briefly
SCF: no not at all. Brighton is one of the few places that makes everywhere look northern. We were chanting "You're practically French. You're practically French. You are so southern, you're practically French!" at the Amex last month.
