Like JMF, I found it strange that we let Ramsey go, but it now seems that DF and Matt Gill consider Max Aarons to have greater potential at RB. He can also play at LB, as he did again last night. It does seem as if he could be on the verge of a Lewis like breakthrough. Given our present options at RB, however, he may well go out on loan to get first team experience and then come back next year after Passlack's loan expires.
I read somewhere that Raggett's loan to Rotherham is season long, BUT with an option to to return in January.
Could be like Maddison's loan at Aberdeen where he opted to return to CR in January. Also should insure that he gets playing time.
I can't remember who or where, but I know some cynical bugger suggested it was in there so we could sell him in January if a half decent offer came in. Bah!
I think that was the logic behind the Wildschut loan deal, which has that option. Wouldn't surprise me if we're using it for Raggett in the same way. Unless he gets significantly better in possession and at passing the ball out, he doesn't have a place in the squad under Farke.
Raggett had a frustrating season last year with little playing time. Going out on loan should give him that and the situation can be reviewed in January. Makes sense really.
I think it’s a great opportunity to send him out and get some regular championship football under his belt and see how he performs in this league, without risking our defence. If he plays well we bring him back into the fold as another defensive option, or sell on for a good profit. If he’s not great we should at least still be able to get what we paid for him. Win! Win!

I thought he was away on a season long loan? In which case we won't benefit until this time next year at the earliest.
