McLean is going well and Morris scored his 8th goal of the season, but Matthews came out the winner in Plymouth's 2-1 win.

So Shrewsbury go back to the top of league 1 after a win last night whilst Wigan lost (but have a game in hand). Morris was substituted on 89 minutes and Godfrey played the last 35 minutes or so.
Cantwell was an unused sub - again!!!!

 

So our Under 23s continue their winning ways, beating WBA away 2-0, with both goals scored by Mourgos. I think they've only lost once in the last 7 or 8 games.

 

Mourgos is another one to watch for first team promotion sometime soon given his Arsenal pedigree. Sounds like he has JM's gift for free kicks as well. Match Report:

Yes, I forgot him Fonkeu and Abrahams as well as Cantwell and Phillis in post #111 on this thread https://www.not606.com/threads/norwich-vs-ipswich.358497/page-6#post-11474837, so as long as we retain most of the nucleus of the team/senior players we should have a reasonable team for next season.

 

It really does seem to be shaping up to the Southampton model with all of these youfs waiting in the wings. Not sure Adam is going to like being called Phillis though!

1-0 is the final score. Owen Wallis with the goal after a back heel from Abrahams. Keller had the ball in the net but it was disallowed. That should be enough for them to go through, but that may depend on what Bournemouth does against leaders Wolves tonight.

 

And or under 18s are in action tomorrow evening at CR in the FA Youth Cup against Brum for a place in the semi final.
