True, but neither of them cost anywhere near £89m. Even combined they didnt cost anywhere near that much. I had never even heard of Hazard before he came to Chelsea.
Well obviously, but Pogba doesn't sit and sulk his way through an impending relegation battle, it was only a comparison of the situation. We also paid £0 for Zlatan, that's nowhere near what Hazard and Costa cost Chelsea. Dedication and commitment isn't based on a scale of player value.
I find it amusing when clubs and fans claim they got someone free when they know damn well they had to pay a massive signing on bonus.
Does that mean he's destined to get sacked as Stags manager for bullying (borderline sexual bullying at that) a youth player?
On Paul Pogba - He was never a £89 million player, for me, We overpaid for him by £20-30 million in my opinion, That's not his fault, he doesn't set his fee, he's one of the best midfielders in the world, he'd get into every team in the world, I'm sure Real Madrid wanted to sign him before he re-joined us last summer, He'll come good, I have no doubts about that.
true, he didn't set the fee, but once it had been paid you'd think he'd try and show he's worth it. Against Chelsea he looked lazy and disinterested, and has been anonymous in pretty much every game against top sides. He's not worth half his fee
I'll answer you old timer. The 'dab' is a stupid 'look at me, I'm so cool' kind of move/dance/celebration. Pogba does it when he scores so keep your eyes peeled come next November or something.
Nah give him time. I think he will come good. £89m worth of good? I dont know. Bale and Ronaldo were shifted for similar amounts and they are match winners, Pogba doesnt play that role. His contribution is far less tangible. But this season, he has been a bit of a bust, thats undeniable. Jose claiming he is the best player on the pitch doesn't help.....
