Austin 1300 GT with the orange strip speedo? I had one by far and away worst ever car had two huge cracks underneath failed MOT, left outside the house whilst saved up money for repairs, got booked by police, even though I had removed the carbs so it was immobile, No tax and not showing a tax disc. Two days later the copper who booked me's mate turned up and bought it off me for a knock down price!!! still got done though. That's when I gained my healthy "respect" for the boys in blue. (He towed it away with wheels on the ground should have reported him!)
Did I say that was my worst car? Nah Datsun 120Y absolute rust bucket, or was it the Vauxhall Viva, maybe the Austin Metropolitan? boy I had some s*** wheels.

Thats the one. Thinking about it I had a mk2 escort that was $h!te as well. Both cars I bough off "mates". never do that again.

On a slightly different note when I passed my driving test I bought my first car ( a mini van hand painted yellow ! ) and I sold my motor bike, a P reg Suzuki 185TS. I saw the guy that bought it the next day pushing it. As I drove by I ducked out of sight so that it looked like no one was driving.

Worst - Rover 75 - it broke down 3 times in the 3 years I had it as a company car - once at Ashton Gate after a game - I live 60 miles from Bristol - that Saturday I got home at 10.00pm!!!

First - A Datsun Cherry (for the young ones like Shiny they are called Nissan now)

Next - just bought myself a brand new 2.0L Golf TDi - have to wait as my spec is a factory build - should get it in 8 weeks

Reading these comments I've been really lucky, back in the days I used to be able to fix most things myself on a car so I used to enjoy it when they broke down. Then I went into company vans then cars. Would not have a clue what to do with them!!

Hated my ex wife's Peugeot 207, that was a bag of ****e that was the ****test ride ever, bit like the ex wife. But she had it a month before I talked her into getting rid of the ****ing thing.

Also had a Yamaha XS250 that would prefer to be in workshop than on the road, probably because my mates all got RD's and I had to screw the bollocks of it to stay up with them. That thing cost me a fortune.

But overall have to agree with Massive, police cars have to be the worse I've been in. Especially when I got picked up for fighting and they put us in the same ****ing car! The bastard got me a good one before they separated us.

Here is my 2nd worst car, I loved it while it was working fine but a fit bird was at a bus stop, Took my eyes off the road to then go into the back of a Tesco lorry <laugh>, Didn't damage the car to bad but about 1-2 months later the car would make this ridiculous electric saw like it was trying to cut through Metal, Turns out it was the clutch ripping in 2 then as we were coming back from town the clutch snapped as I was at the round-a-bout so we had to push it up on the side of the road, Which was enough hard to do, Then Scrapped the next day. That car was nothing but problems. Think it broke down on me about 4/5 times!

Raver, I bought my 1300 from a relative??? also never again.
Gone are the days of sitting in the backyard with the head off my Morris minor convertible a wooden stick with a sucker on some grinding paste, some new valves and hours of endless fun seating them, looking like Bear Grills trying to light a fire.
Oil/brake fluid dripping all over the place, that wonderful smell of Gunk and hands that were never clean and a car that invariably broke down.
Don't even start me on grease guns and "Nipples"
Oh the good old days. Who wants a car that goes for 12,000 miles between services without a glitch?
Sorry to say I now have a Toyota Corolla 1.6 automatic how old fart is that?

This might surprise many but my worst ever car was a brand new 2005 Audi A6 (new shape).

It was a company car on an allowance (mine but the company paid) when I worked in Reading as a software engineer.
For 6 months it was ok, then one thing after another broke on it.
The worst thing was the attitude of the Audi dealership - it was like I was lying to them 'you can't have a problem with this car because well, it's an AUDI FFs'.
    Bunch of self inflated twats

I took it back and virtually threw the keys at them.

I was going to sue them for 2 months payments as that equated to the time it spent in their workshop NOT being fixed, but couldn't be arsed in the end.

Vorsprung Durch technic - hinterhalten bei scheisse more like.
