    I know we've done this before back on old606, but now we've got a new home and some great contributors, let's do it again!

    Explain you username, and why you chose it.

    Originally I was PoliticalCanary, PC for short. At the time I was still at Uni studying Political Science, so it kind of made sense.

    Now I'm CanariesSoccer which is bringing me into line with my twitter account. The twitter account came about after about half a season of writing my faux-american style match threads and even got me a nervy appearence on the Scrimmage! Have had lots of fun with the american stuff and I'm looking forward to kicking off our Premier League season with it!

    Not sure why i didn't use a norwich related name- i was HoolaHand of God on 606. Now I'm just named after the irritating coloured cube and the playful northern irish word for idiot!

    Well, Arthur is my middle name and I've always had a feeling that I'll be knighted one day (Obviously with the sword Excalibur!)

    I did think about having a norwich related name, but so does practically everyone else here. I couldn't come up with any original and witty canary-related nickname so I decided that I would just do something else.

    1)I like Holt (The town, Gary and Grant)

    2)I like Led Zeppelin and top of the pops

    3)Wholelot sounds like Holt if you say it quickly

    4)It allows people to use good put downs when they disagree with me (whole-lot-of-**** etc...)

    Yeah, that was a connection that I failed to realise when I made the account. :embarrassed:
    Alas, I'm too young to remember him working at the club, but I know the South (Jarrold) stand was named after him. Looking up some history now!
